I’m looking for advice on what to replace my phone with I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900W8) which I bought new in July, 2014. the problem being it will sporadically restart itself and sometime the camera will just lock the phone up mid picture. Today it shutoff 4 times for no reason, I had to boot it in safe mode and uninstalled some apps so that it will stay on, the memory was full, and it’s usually running most of the available RAM. Elsewise it’s mechanically perfect because I take good care of my phone there’s not a scratch on it.

The camera : At 16mp it takes great pictures usually I run without the flash, the image stabilization works its magic to take a nice clear picture. If the flashes is ON it will take detailed macro shots.
IP67 rated waterproof : This has saved me more then once, like when I was out in the rain for hours the pulled my phone out of the pocket of my raincoat which was soaked through, and the phone still worked perfectly.
Fingerprint Sensor : Secure AND quick to unlock.
It’s Blue : I like that it looks different then every other Black, Silver, White Slab out there. Really any color would be nice.
Screen size : 5.1" is a good size for my hands, no less then this, but I could go a little bigger.
Big Battery : it has a 2800mAh removable battery It will easily last me 2 days of heavy use.
Additionally any new phone would also have to have Bluetooth for hands-free calling and music streaming to my truck. Wifi AC.

I plan on buying the new phone outright budget is $600 Cdn but the budget does have flex room. I’ll be running it on a Prepaid plan on Sasktel 4G LTE network.
I was thinking of replacing it with a because I liked the Galaxy S5 so much I was thinking of replacing it with a Samsung Galaxy S7 but that’s proving hard to find NEW and unlocked.
So I would like to hear any suggestions you might have.

P.S. I plan on keeping the S5 around to play with maybe installing a custom ROM and other stuff if you want to suggest something as to that, I’ll hear that to.
and Thanks in advance!
Edit:
Sasktel website this is what it needs for compatibility
(it must be HSPA/UMTS and operate in the 850MHz and 1900MHZ frequency bands)
UPDATE
Thank you all for you help. I ordered a OnePlus 6 Red. I should arrive next week.

Hmm are the OnePlus phones waterproof? I think they should work on SaskTel. I had an S7, and it was pretty good, but I'm liking my Pixel 2 a lot more. I'd offer you my old S7, but the screen is cracked, it's locked to Rogers, and it's in Saskatoon while I'm in Regina.

Website says OnePlus 6 is waterproof but they dont back up the claim with standardized test rating, the red does look fantastic though.
The pixel 2 is priced too much for me.

I just replaced my S5 last night with a blue S8. I’ve only had it a few hours so I can’t compare it to the 5 yet . But if you have Best Buy nearby they are selling for $500 US unlocked.

The S8 has that rolled edge? Not really a fan of that. Also Best buy Canada wants $700 for the same phone.

I’m an iPhone user but was tempted by the options from OnePlus before I bought my iPhone 8.

Yeah, already I know I don't like the rolled edge.

Is your carrier gsm? I just got a Nokia 6.1, it’s cheap but solid. If you want ip67 have to go with the Nokia 8 sirro co. No image stabilization for cams though so you have to be steady.

I recommend a Blackberry:

They are Android phones that are actually robust.

Check eBay for modern, unlocked phones. That might be a good bet. Phones such as the S8 and iPhone 7 should have some nice discounts right now.

You missed it by a week... there was a way to get an S8 for $480 on Koodo, outright.

This should check all your checkboxes, minus the Blue part.
https://www.koodomobile.com/phones/google-pixel-2
$480 + some miscellaneous fees, but a wee bit of work required:
1. Order the phone on the Koodo website, on Tab Large on a new line, select the 128GB model.
2. While waiting for the phone to ship, go to a Bell or Virgin store and buy a prepaid SIM card, but DON’T activate it yet.
3. Once the phone arrives, activate it with Koodo. Obtain the new phone number, and don’t use the new card.
4. Immediately activate the new prepaid card, and select the option to port that new phone number over to the prepaid activation. When it’s all done, Koodo should send you an email confirming the cancellation.
5. Wait for the final bill, which should be a $480 tab charge, 1-day of service.
6. Put your SaskTel prepaid card in. Enjoy your new phone.

As a person using a BlackBerry Android right now... don’t.
Unless you want the keyboard, there is zero point to getting one.
